I spoke to the local publisher and his wife. They can not do the book in a hardbound copy, but they can do full color saddle-stitch cover. I'm pretty excited about it. I've started sharing it with more family.

My artist has made almost all the changes I've asked for. I lack only the front cover to be happy. In straightening out one part, it looks to me as if he messed another part up. I haven't heard back from him on my request for some minor changes, but I did get a "final bill." I don't want to pay nearly a thousand dollars and be unhappy with one aspect of the cover, the first thing people will see.

Maybe I'm over-reacting, but my husband thought it looked odd, too.

I haven't written much - I seem to be falling into a bit of a depression. I hate this gloomy weather.
